Apply First Aid Blended Learning (formerly Senior First Aid and Refresher)
Students are issued with a workbook and a first aid manual. They read Sections 1 to Section 4 of their first aid manual . They then complete the self assessment questions in their workbook. These questions are designed to help the student understand the information they have just read.
After completion of the workbook they then attend a one day practical session. This refreshes their theory knowledge and gives them the opportunity to practise their practical skills.

Anyone who has never done a first aid course before or has done a course, but a long time ago. The blended learning combines practical and a bit of theory to ensure that students come away from the course with the confidence that they could help in an emergency.
The Apply First Aid is the Australian standard for first aid, replacing the old Senior First Aid a few years ago. So anyone that needs a first aid certificate for work, this is the course for you.

This course will cover treatment of various first aid situations including: shock, medical emergencies, burns/ temperature extremes, fractures, Poisons/ envenomation, substance misuse, bleeding, allergic reactions, soft tissue injuries.
