This course is a practical hands-on course to update your Apply First Aid Certificate which includes updating of CPR skills, scenarios and a theory paper.

Suitable For:
This course is for those who may have previously held a Senior First Aid certificate and it is due to expire. The Apply First Aid is the Australian standard for first aid, replacing the old Senior First Aid a few years ago. So anyone that needs a first aid certificate for work, this is the course for you.
Competencies covered in the course
Each participant will perform the following
- HLTCPR201A Perform CPR
- HLTFA201A Provide Basic Emergency Life Support
- HLTFA301B Apply First Aid
This course will cover treatment of various first aid situations including: shock, medical emergencies, burns/ temperature extremes, fractures, Poisons/ envenomation, substance misuse, bleeding, allergic reactions, soft tissue injuries.
