Low Voltage Course

This unit of competency will provide the participant with the knowledge and skills to rescue a casualty in a low voltage emergency.

This course costs $65.

Course Duration:

2 hours

Suitable for:

* Electricians who may be chosen as a competent safety observer where the voltage of electricity may exceed 1000 AC RMS or 1500 ripple-free DC.

As a requirement under the electrical regulations regarding low voltage training, this course includes CPR training.   The course also includes:  legislation and regulations regarding low voltage and working live, requirements for a low voltage rescue kit, the responsibilities of a qualified safety observer, identifying hazards in a low voltage emergency and performing a rescue safely.
